What it is
Source: My own description of the project; the Department of Home Affairs and the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA) for the Australian rules. Date: 15 October 2026. Scope: What the platform does, as I describe it. No users, clients or outcomes are claimed, and nothing on this page is migration advice.
SkillMate is an AI platform for migration and study-abroad businesses. It combines migration intelligence and personalised visa-pathway forecasting with AI guidance in one place, and it includes tools for migration agents and education consultants. Built
In Australia, immigration assistance, which includes advising about a visa application, may lawfully be given only by registered migration agents, Australian legal practitioners and certain exempt persons (Department of Home Affairs, OMARA). Nothing on this page is migration advice.
What it does
For its users:
- Migration intelligence. Information on migration and on migration policy, which changes over time.
- Personalised visa-pathway forecasting. A forecast of potential visa pathways, personalised to a person’s circumstances.
- AI guidance. Guidance produced with AI.
The platform helps users understand their eligibility, explore potential pathways and make informed decisions based on their circumstances and on changing migration policies.
For migration agents and education consultants:
- Client management. Tools to manage clients and to make day-to-day operations more efficient.
- Enquiry conversion. Tools to help turn enquiries into clients.
How it is built
SkillMate is built on AI and data analytics. Built Its forecasting models how the queue of Expressions of Interest (EOIs) actually moves, rather than working from points scores alone.
Stack. AI, data analytics
Where it stands
SkillMate’s aim is to turn migration planning from a confusing, reactive process into one that is personalised and based on data. No users, clients or outcomes are claimed.
